Project status

Weatha is currently an independent research and development project focused on photovoltaic power forecasting in Switzerland.

The project is currently operated as a prototype and has not yet been incorporated as a separate legal entity.

Data sources and third-party information

The project uses data and information provided by independent third-party organisations, including MeteoSwiss, the Swiss Federal Office of Energy (SFOE), Pronovo and ENTSO-E.

These data providers are independent third parties and are not affiliated with, do not endorse, and are not responsible for this project, its analysis, methodology, forecasts or conclusions.

In particular, the use of Pronovo production data and the scaling assumptions applied to estimate total cantonal PV production do not represent an official Pronovo estimate or endorsement of this project.
